New Shelter Capital Campaign |
|
Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter (FAAS) has officially kicked off the Capital Campaign,
“Paving the Way – One Paw at a Time”, to raise funds for a new animal shelter for abandoned and abused cats and dogs.
The current shelter is inadequate and outdated and has outgrown its current and future needs.
The current shelter does NOT have:
· Quarantine space for sick animals
· Isolation areas for new Shelter residents
· Adoption rooms for families to meet and greet

The new shelter will provide the needy animals of Attleboro with a safe and healthy start.
The new shelter will need:
· Air Purification System
· Centralized Cleaning and Sanitation System
· Larger Kennels to maximize the health and well-being of our cats and dogs
· Separate Quarantine and Isolation areas
· Adoption Rooms for families to meet and greet
The financial goal is $400K which is far less than other nearby communities. But in today’s market even $400K is a lot of money to raise. In order to be successful, it is essential that we get support and help from everyone, including residents, businesses and the city government, and keep our community updated on the details of our progress throughout the duration of our campaign.
FAAS encourages anyone who is interested in volunteering their time to help us achieve this goal, especially in Staffing or Developing Fundraising events, Marketing, or acting as a Building Coordinator, to please call
FAAS at 508-761-5617 or send an e-mail to sheltercampaign@hotmail.com
