The Adoption Process
Before adopting an animal, we strongly encourage you to read and consider these two documents:

If you are ready to proceed, please read The Adoption Process as it will answer many questions you may have.
Dogs and Puppies
All dogs and puppies receive a physical exam, rabies, parvovirus, and distemper shots, spaying/neutering,
heartworm and seasonal flea & tick preventative, and worming (puppies only). The adoption fee is $120 for puppies and dogs.

All of our kittens receive a physical exam and all age-appropriate shots. Adult cats receive a physical exam, shots with rabies vaccination, combo test for FIV/FELV, and are either spayed or neutered. Flea treatment, ear cleaning and nail trimming are included in the adoption fee for both cats and kittens. The adoption fee is $120 for adult cats. Kittens may be adopted for $120 with a $30 refund upon proof of spay or neuter. Print our Cat Adoption Application in Word or PDF.
Payment - City of Attleboro Dogs
Adoption fee payments must be made in the form of a bank check or money order only payable to City of Attleboro.
The City of Attleboro cannot accept cash or personal checks.
Payment - FAAS Cats or Dogs
Adoption fee payments must be made in the form of a money order (preferred), bank check or personal check payable to FAAS.
FAAS cannot accept cash.
