FAAS News and Events

FAAS has great events coming up this month! We hope you can join us!

Bob's
Our next event is Have-A-Heart - Help our Furry Friends Day on
Saturday, May 17, sponsored by Bob's Discount Furniture in South Attleboro. Click on the link to learn more!

Walkers
FAAS's second big fund-raiser of the year is our 5th Annual "Paws for the Cause" Pet Walk on Saturday, May 31, beginning from Attleboro Moose Lodge 463 at 241 Thacher St, Attleboro, MA.

All proceeds from FAAS events benefit the Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter, an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide financial support and care to the Attleboro Animal Shelter for the care and well-being of the unwanted, stray, and needy cats and dogs that pass through the shelter.

Paypal Even if you are unable to attend our events, you can still help by making a donation now or learn how you can contribute to the Lacey Lou Fund and help animals with end-stage illnesses.

Stella - one of our adopted Pit Bulls
Have you adopted a pit bull from us? Does your pup have good looks, charm, a touching story, or really cute costumes? If so, here is your chance to share your rescued pit bull with the world! Submit a photo and your dog could be featured in Pit Bull Rescue Central's 2009 Happy Endings Calendar!

PBRC Rescue
This is PBRC's 7th annual calendar, and all proceeds from the photo submissions as well as the sale of the calendars, are used to help pitbulls in need through Pit Bull Rescue Central. Don't miss out on this fantastic op- portunity to have your furry friend be a pin-up and help others in need!

And mark your calendar now for the 2008 Pet Rock Festival on Sunday, September 14! We'll be at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester along with lots of other animal groups, from rescue groups to shelters to anyone who loves animals. The goal of this festival is to spread the word about kindness to animals. It's a fun, friendly event with music, contests, parades, vendors, refreshments. They will also be offering a rabies clinic and low-cost microchipping. We hope to see you there!
