In memory of absent friends - in memory, still bright

Charlie - Because he was so sick with juvenile onset kidney disease,
Charlie came to us as foster dog. This big old boy immediately became a part of the family,
becoming good friends with his "step brother" Mo. From the way he acted, you would never know
Charlie was so sick or that his life expectancy was so short. He was just a big puppy who liked
to meet people and have fun. He was such a gentle giant, we had no fear of taking him to
Friends fund-raisers where he gave out kisses by the dozen! Brett and Dave - June, 2008

Marcella
- As soon as I opened the crate door, out marched Marcella - queen of
her domain! She strolled leisurely around the house and checked out the whole place. This was her house! Although she preferred to sleep on her own bed, she woud climb up to the top of the recliner and rub her head against mine, purring in my ear, and putting her paw supportively on my shoulder. Funny and feisty, Marcella filled a huge hole in my life. All the people who passed her by because she was an older cat didn't know what they were missing! Daria - February, 2008

| Reese - Reese
was a wonderful dog whom we adopted about 9 years ago during a very
difficult time in our lives. I was a single mother with two young
children, one of whom was a depressed teenager. You suggested a
depressed dog so they could get better together. We met Mouse - a
1 1/2 year old female mixed breed dog - and instantly fell in love. My teenager emerged from her depression and went on to graduate college Sum Cum Laude. Reese also emerged from her depression and truly became a member of our family. Our lives continued to change for the better: I remarried, and Reese took an instant liking to my husband and stepsons. My mother battled lung cancer for the last year, and Reese absolutely helped her pull through a very difficult treatment regime. Then Reese began showing symptoms of Cushing's disease which progressed extremely quickly, and we made the very difficult decision to end her suffering. This dog has been a wonderful, loyal, sweet and gentle pet to our entire family. She brought us tremendous joy during the time that we had her, and we will definitely miss her. Donna A. - April, 2006

he would meet in heaven and be judged by, all the dogs
he loved on earth ...
